Workday to Acquire Sana Labs

Workday, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sana Labs AB, a leading AI company, for approximately $1.1 billion. The acquisition aims to integrate Sana's AI-powered search, agents, and learning tools with Workday's platform to create a more proactive, personalized, and intelligent employee experience. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Workday’s fiscal year 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Sana's products, including Sana Learn and Sana Agents, have already served over one million users across hundreds of enterprises. The acquisition will enable Workday to accelerate Sana's growth and deliver more innovation to its customers at scale. The combined capabilities will help employees find answers, automate tasks, and create personalized learning experiences, transforming the way employees learn, grow, and operate in the workplace.
