trivago N.V. Completes Acquisition of Holisto Limited

On July 31, 2025, trivago N.V. completed the acquisition of Holisto Limited for approximately €22.3 million (USD 25.5 million). Holisto, an AI-driven travel technology platform, serves as a hotel rate aggregator and white-label booking engine provider. As a result of this transaction, Holisto has become a wholly owned and consolidated subsidiary of trivago. The acquisition allows trivago to operate Holisto's business, including its merchant of record activities for hotel bookings.
