Grupo Simec Announces Q3 2025 Financial Results

Grupo Simec, S.A.B. de C.V. reported its financial results for the first nine months of 2025, showing a 10% decrease in net sales compared to the same period in 2024. The decline was attributed to a 9% reduction in shipments of finished steel products and a 1% lower average sales price. Gross profit decreased by 13%, and operating profit fell by 15%. The company also reported a significant 91% drop in net income, primarily due to a net exchange loss of Ps. 3,050 million compared to a net exchange income of Ps. 3,799 million in 2024. Despite these challenges, the company saw a 6% increase in net sales in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the second quarter of the same year.
