Prudential plc Share Buyback and Scrip Issue

Prudential plc announced the purchase of 292,389 of its ordinary shares from Merrill Lynch International at an average price of £10.1242 per share. The shares were repurchased under the authority granted by shareholders at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. Additionally, the company issued 2,175,535 ordinary shares in connection with the scrip dividend alternative for the 2025 first interim dividend. Following these transactions, the total number of shares in issue will be 2,564,068,247. The repurchased shares are intended to be canceled. The transactions were conducted in compliance with the Listing Rules of the London Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-Backs.
