Pembina Pipeline Enters into LPG Export Agreement with AltaGas Ltd.

Pembina Pipeline Corporation has entered into a long-term agreement with AltaGas Ltd. for the export of liquified petroleum gases (LPG). The agreement provides Pembina with 30,000 barrels per day (bpd) of export capacity at AltaGas’ Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal (RIPET) and future Ridley Island Energy Export Facility (REEF). The capacity will be phased in, with 20,000 bpd starting in April 2026 and an additional 10,000 bpd starting in April 2027. This agreement enhances Pembina’s market diversification and complements its existing North American propane marketing capabilities. The export capacity will provide access to premium markets in Asia, further strengthening Pembina’s position in the global energy market.
