Dr. John C. Malone to Transition to Chairman Emeritus of Liberty Global Ltd.

Liberty Global Ltd. announced that Dr. John C. Malone, Chairman of the Board, will step down effective January 1, 2026, and transition to Chairman Emeritus. In this role, Dr. Malone will continue to provide strategic counsel but will not have a formal vote on Board matters. Mike Fries, the current CEO and Vice Chairman, will succeed Dr. Malone as Chairman of the Board. Dr. Malone's decision to retire is not due to any disagreement with the company. This transition ensures continuity and leverages Dr. Malone's extensive experience while allowing him to reduce his travel and time commitments.
