ING Groep N.V. 2025 EU-wide Stress Test Results

ING Groep N.V. reported the results of the 2025 EU-wide stress test conducted by the European Banking Authority (EBA) in cooperation with the European Central Bank (ECB), the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB), and De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). The stress test, which covered a three-year horizon from 2025 to 2027, assessed ING's ability to meet prudential requirements under stressed scenarios. The test applied a static balance sheet assumption as of December 31, 2024, and did not account for future business strategies or management actions. ING's Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio under the baseline scenario was 12.90%, while under the adverse scenario, it was 10.63%. The fully-loaded CET1 ratio was 11.85% for the baseline and 10.41% for the adverse scenario. ING's actual CET1 ratio as of June 30, 2025, was 13.3%. The results will be used by competent authorities in the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP).
