HSBC Holdings plc Announces Share Buy-Back Transactions

HSBC Holdings plc has announced the purchase of its ordinary shares for cancellation as part of its buy-back program initiated on 31 July 2025. On 16 September 2025, the company repurchased 2,181,285 ordinary shares on UK Venues at a volume-weighted average price of £10.0699 per share and 1,497,200 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at a volume-weighted average price of HK$107.1613 per share. Since the commencement of the buy-back, HSBC has repurchased a total of 123,672,408 ordinary shares for approximately US$1,589.9 million. Following the cancellation of the shares repurchased on UK Venues, the company's issued ordinary share capital will consist of 17,290,397,664 ordinary shares with voting rights.
