Power of Attorney for Brad Virbitsky

Brad Virbitsky, a director of Gran Tierra Energy Inc., has appointed Phillip D. Abraham and Gary S. Guidry as his attorneys-in-fact. This Power of Attorney grants them the authority to handle various SEC filings on his behalf, including Forms 3, 4, 5, and 144. The attorneys-in-fact are also authorized to manage Virbitsky's EDGAR account, including appointing and removing account administrators, maintaining security, and certifying the accuracy of account information. The Power of Attorney remains in effect until Virbitsky is no longer required to file these forms, he revokes it in writing, or the attorneys-in-fact are no longer employed by the company.
