Equinox Partners Investment Management LLC and Affiliates File Schedule 13D for Gran Tierra Energy Inc.

Equinox Partners Investment Management LLC (EPIM), along with Equinox Partners, L.P., Kuroto Fund LP, Mason Hill Partners, LP, and Sean M. Fieler, collectively referred to as the Reporting Persons, have filed a Schedule 13D with the SEC regarding their ownership of Common Stock in Gran Tierra Energy Inc. The Reporting Persons beneficially own approximately 14.4% of the outstanding Shares, totaling 5,097,688 Shares. The filing was prompted by the appointment of Brad Virbitsky, a portfolio manager and partner at EPIM, to the Issuer's Board of Directors as an independent director, effective September 30, 2025. The Reporting Persons purchased the Shares based on their belief that the Shares were undervalued and represented an attractive investment opportunity. They may consider increasing or decreasing their position in the Issuer depending on market conditions and other factors. The Reporting Persons have not entered into any transactions in Shares during the past sixty days.
