COPEL Completes Divestment of Baixo Iguaçu Hydroelectric Plant

Companhia Paranaense de Energia (COPEL) has announced the completion of the divestment of the Baixo Iguaçu Hydroelectric Plant to ENERGO-PRO BRASIL HOLDING S.A. The transaction, which was finalized on October 22, 2025, had an equity value of R$ 1,683.3 million. The payment was structured in three parts: R$ 155.4 million paid in February 2025, R$ 1,517.9 million credited on the closing date, and the remaining R$ 10.0 million to be released upon completion of post-closing steps. This divestment underscores COPEL's efficiency in asset recycling and its commitment to generating consistent returns for shareholders.
