Temporary Medical Leave of DexCom's CEO

On September 14, 2025, DexCom, Inc. announced that Kevin R. Sayer, the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, is taking a temporary medical leave of absence. In response, the Board of Directors appointed Jacob S. Leach, President and Chief Operating Officer, as the interim principal executive officer. Additionally, Mark Foletta, Lead Independent Director of the Board, was appointed as the interim chairman of the Board. Both appointments are effective immediately, and neither Mr. Leach nor Mr. Foletta will receive additional compensation for their interim roles. This change is temporary, and the company has not disclosed the expected duration of Mr. Sayer's leave.
