Diana Shipping Inc. Extends Time Charter Contracts for M/V Semirio and M/V Maera

Diana Shipping Inc. announced the extension of the time charter contract for its Capesize dry bulk vessel, the m/v Semirio, with Solebay Shipping Cape Company Limited. The new charter rate is US$21,650 per day, minus a 5.00% commission, and the contract period is from March 15, 2026, to a maximum of April 15, 2027. Additionally, the company entered into a time charter contract for its Panamax dry bulk vessel, the m/v Maera, with CRC Shipping Pte. Ltd. The gross charter rate is US$11,750 per day, minus a 5.00% commission, and the contract period is from November 2, 2025, to a maximum of December 20, 2026. These charters are expected to generate approximately US$10.93 million in gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period. Diana Shipping Inc.'s fleet currently consists of 36 dry bulk vessels, with two additional methanol dual fuel new-building Kamsarmax vessels expected to be delivered by 2028.
