Power of Attorney for Section 16 & Rule 144 Reporting Obligations

Patrick Decker, a director of CRH Public Limited Company, has executed a Power of Attorney appointing several individuals, including the Company Secretary and Deputy General Counsel – Securities, as his attorneys-in-fact. This Power of Attorney authorizes these individuals to execute and file Forms 3, 4, 5, 144, and ID on his behalf in compliance with Section 16(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 144 under the Securities Act of 1933. The attorneys-in-fact are also authorized to perform any necessary acts related to these filings, including obtaining transaction information from third parties. The Power of Attorney remains in effect until Decker is no longer required to file these forms, unless revoked earlier in writing.
