Check Point Acquires Lakera to Enhance AI Security

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. announced its agreement to acquire Lakera, a leading AI-native security platform for Agentic AI applications. This acquisition aims to deliver an end-to-end AI security stack, protecting enterprises as they accelerate their AI journey. Lakera's platform, known for its real-time runtime security and continuous red teaming, will integrate with Check Point's Infinity architecture to secure the full lifecycle of AI, including models, agents, and data. The acquisition will establish Check Point's Global Center of Excellence for AI Security, positioning the company as a leader in AI security.
