Viessmann Generations Group Reduces Stake in Carrier Global Corp via Block Trade

On May 20, 2026, Viessmann Generations Group GmbH & Co. KG (VGG) and its affiliates filed an Amendment No. 7 to their Schedule 13D, reporting a decrease in their holdings of Carrier Global Corp (CARR). VGG entered into a block trade with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., selling 12,094,823 shares of common stock at a price of $62.01 per share. Following this transaction, the reporting persons beneficially own 37,979,286 shares, representing approximately 4.57% of the company's outstanding stock. The sale was conducted to support portfolio rebalancing. Despite the reduction, VGG remains one of Carrier's largest shareholders. Maximilian Viessmann, a director and controlling stockholder of the reporting entities, reaffirmed his long-term commitment to the company.
