Armstrong World Industries Acquires Geometrik Manufacturing Inc.

On September 18, 2025, Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (AWI) announced the completion of its acquisition of Geometrik Manufacturing Inc., a leading Canadian designer and manufacturer of wood acoustical ceiling and wall systems. Geometrik, headquartered in Kelowna, British Columbia, specializes in products made from multiple wood species, including Western Hemlock. This acquisition expands AWI's wood product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities in Canada and the U.S. The acquisition was funded with available cash, and District Capital Partners acted as the buy-side adviser. AWI expects this move to accelerate growth in the rapidly expanding wood product category and deliver more innovative solutions to customers across North America.
