Edward H. Codispoti, EVP & Chief Financial Officer of American Public Education, Inc., has executed a Power of Attorney appointing Angela Selden and Thomas Beckett as his attorneys-in-fact. This authorization allows them to execute and file Forms 3, 4, and 5 on his behalf in compliance with Section 16(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
