Exicure Appoints Young Seung Ko as COO and Yoontae Han to Board of Directors

On April 8, 2026, Exicure, Inc. announced significant changes to its Board of Directors and executive leadership team. The Company appointed Yoontae Han to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee. Mr. Han will receive an annual retainer of $20,000 for his services. Simultaneously, current Audit Committee member Dongho Lee was appointed as the new Chair of the Audit Committee. Effective April 9, 2026, Exicure appointed Young Seung Ko as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Ko brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise software and public company operations, having previously served as CEO of AGEDB Technology Ltd. and Director of Global Operations at Bitnine Global Inc. In connection with his appointment, the Company amended its existing executive services agreement with Innocircle Advisors Inc. to include an additional monthly fee of $10,000 for Mr. Ko's COO services. The Company confirmed there are no material interests or related-party transactions involving the new appointees that require disclosure under SEC regulations.
