Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. Announces Closing of Silver Stream with BHP on Antamina

Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. has announced the closing of a silver stream transaction with BHP, through its subsidiary Wheaton Precious Metals International Ltd. (WPMI), in respect of the Antamina Mine in Peru. Under the agreement, WPMI will purchase a significant amount of payable silver from the mine, with an upfront payment of US$4.3 billion and ongoing payments based on the spot price of silver. The transaction details were initially announced on February 16, 2026.
