US Bancorp Q2 2026 Financial Results
U.S. Bancorp reported strong financial results for the second quarter of 2026, with record net revenue of $7.7 billion, a 10.1% increase year-over-year. Net income rose by 19.9% to $2.18 billion, and diluted earnings per common share increased by 21.6% to $1.35. The company saw significant growth in net interest income, up 7.5% year-over-year, and noninterest income, up 13.7%, boosted by the acquisition of BTIG which contributed approximately $98 million in fee revenue. Efficiency ratio improved to 57.1%. Loan and deposit growth were also positive, with average total loans up 7.1% and average total deposits up 2.4% year-over-year.
