UFP Industries Acquires Oldcastle APG’s MoistureShield Decking Assets

UFP Industries announced the acquisition of Oldcastle APG’s MoistureShield decking operating assets on April 6, 2026. This strategic move significantly expands Deckorators® composite decking capacity and strengthens UFP Industries' core business. The acquisition includes manufacturing assets, inventory, certain product brands, and proprietary CoolDeck® technology, which reduces heat absorption. This expansion positions Deckorators for long-term growth in the outdoor living market by enabling scaled production, better customer service, and support for new product introductions. The acquired operations will be integrated into Deckorators’ existing manufacturing network, enhancing operational resilience and optimizing production. Oldcastle APG will retain its RDI® Railing and Catalyst™ Fence Solutions brands. This investment is expected to enable Deckorators to double its WPC capacity to $200M by 2027.
