Grupo Televisa Reports First Quarter 2026 Results

Grupo Televisa reported its first quarter 2026 results, with consolidated revenue declining by 3.1% to Ps. 14,512.5 million, mainly due to a decrease in Satellite Services revenue, partially offset by growth in Residential and Enterprise Services. Operating Segment Income (OSI) increased by 5.2% to Ps. 6,001.2 million, with the margin expanding by 330 basis points to 41.4%, attributed to ongoing efficiencies and cost reductions. Net income attributable to stockholders significantly increased to Ps. 1,031.9 million from Ps. 319.8 million in the prior year quarter. The company saw growth in Residential Services revenue (0.9%) driven by broadband and mobile subscriber additions, and a substantial increase in Enterprise Services revenue (30.0%). However, Satellite Services revenue declined by 24.6% due to a decrease in Revenue Generating Units (RGUs). Capital expenditures increased to US$141.9 million. Total debt and lease liabilities decreased to Ps. 88,557.8 million.
