Tecnoglass Inc. Adjusts Full Year 2026 Guidance Due to Aluminum Tariffs
Tecnoglass Inc. announced an update to its full year 2026 outlook on April 9, 2026, due to recent aluminum tariffs impacting its financial projections. The company reported that its first quarter performance was in line with expectations, with strong demand and a record backlog supporting its initial full-year revenue growth forecast. However, the introduction of a 10% U.S. tariff on finished aluminum window imports, effective April 2, 2026, necessitates a revision of the Adjusted EBITDA guidance. The company now projects a full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA in the range of $225 million to $245 million, reflecting an estimated $50 million net impact from the tariffs. Tecnoglass plans to mitigate this impact through pricing adjustments, operational efficiencies, and supply chain restructuring. These measures are expected to partially offset the tariff impact in 2026 and fully neutralize it by 2027. The company will provide further details during its first-quarter earnings call in early May.
