SoCalGas Announces Interim President and CEO Changes

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) reported changes to its executive leadership. Effective April 18, 2026, Rodger R. Schwecke has been appointed interim president. He will continue to serve as chief operating officer until his retirement on October 1, 2026. Mr. Schwecke, who has over 44 years of experience with Sempra, will receive a $150,000 lump sum payment contingent on his continued employment. Concurrently, Maryam S. Brown will resign as chief executive officer and president, as well as from the Board of Directors, effective April 17, 2026. These changes were announced on April 8, 2026, with the report filed on April 6, 2026.
