Red Metal Resources Ltd. Initiates IP Survey at Carrizal Project
Red Metal Resources Ltd. announced the commencement of an Induced Polarization (IP) survey at its 100%-owned Carrizal Copper-Gold-Cobalt Project in Chile's Atacama Region. The survey, conducted by Geophysical Studies Chile, aims to explore chargeability associated with sulfides at depths up to 500 meters. The Carrizal project features a structurally controlled, vein-style Iron Oxide Copper-Gold system with veins identified over 12 km of strike length, with previous drilling testing 1.5 km to a depth of approximately 200 meters. The planned IP survey will cover 37 line kilometers across two target areas. The company highlighted significant copper and gold grades from historical surface sampling, with 178 out of 317 samples returning copper grades over 1% and 81 samples exceeding 0.5 g/t gold. Red Metal's CEO, Caitlin Jeffs, stated that the survey is a crucial step in preparing for the second phase of drilling and understanding the full extent of the mineralization. The company plans to integrate geophysical data with geological interpretation and LiDAR-assisted structural analysis to refine drill targeting.
