Transocean Ltd. Announces Contract Awards Totaling $185 Million

Transocean Ltd. announced new contract awards for two of its harsh environment semisubmersibles, the Transocean Norge and the Transocean Equinox. The Transocean Norge secured a five-well contract with Harbour Energy in Norway, estimated at 300 days and valued at approximately $149 million in backlog, commencing in Q1 2028. The Transocean Equinox obtained a two-well contract with Santos in Australia, estimated at 90 days and valued at approximately $36 million in backlog, commencing in Q2 2027. Both contracts include options for additional wells. These awards contribute significantly to Transocean's firm contract backlog, underscoring the company's strong position in technically demanding offshore drilling sectors.
