Transaction in own shares
Prudential plc announced the purchase of 856,241 ordinary shares from Merrill Lynch International (MLI) on December 19, 2025, in accordance with shareholder authority and previously announced arrangements. The shares were bought under two separate agreements, one from July 1, 2025, and another from December 15, 2025. The prices ranged from ÂŖ11.3350 to ÂŖ11.4850 per share. Prudential intends to cancel these repurchased shares. Following this buyback, the total number of shares in issue will be 2,548,639,426, which shareholders can use as a denominator for determining disclosure obligations under the FCA's rules. The repurchases were conducted as on-exchange transactions on the London Stock Exchange and as on-market purchases for the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-Backs.
