Prudential PLC Share Buyback Programme Update

Prudential plc announced an update to its share buyback programme. Initially announced on January 6, 2026, with a maximum aggregate amount of USD 1.2 billion, the programme has been amended to increase this amount to USD 1.472 billion. This increase was agreed upon with J.P. Morgan Securities plc and represents approximately 4% of the company's issued share capital as of September 1, 2026. The buyback programme is expected to be completed by December 18, 2026. The remaining terms and parameters of the programme are unchanged from the January announcement. There is no guarantee that the programme will be fully implemented. Prudential plc operates in life and health insurance and asset management in Greater China, ASEAN, India, and Africa, with listings on the Hong Kong, London, Singapore, and New York stock exchanges.
