POSCO HOLDINGS INC. Report of Foreign Private Issuer

POSCO HOLDINGS INC. reported a serious industrial accident at its subsidiary POSCO E&C on June 9, 2026. The accident occurred during electrical work preparation in a vertical shaft at the Shinansan Line Section 3-2, resulting in one fatality. The cause of the fall is currently under investigation. The Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office issued a partial work suspension order for vertical cable lining operations in the affected section. Site inspections have been completed by the police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and accident prevention measures are being developed to prevent future occurrences.
