Petrobras Announces Nomination for Board of Directors

Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras announced that its Controlling Shareholder, the Federal Government, has nominated Mr. Guilherme Santos Mello to its Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Bruno Moretti. The nomination also includes consideration for Mr. Mello to become Chairman of the Board. These nominations are subject to assessment of applicable requirements and will be presented at the Annual General Meeting on April 16, 2026. Mr. Mello holds a Ph.D. in Economic Science and is a tenured professor at Unicamp. He currently serves as Secretary of Economic Policy at Brazil’s Ministry of Finance and holds board positions at BNDES and PPSA.
