Optimi Health Announces Production of Highest-Purity Natural Psilocybin Extract

Optimi Health Corp. has announced the successful production of its highest-purity natural psilocybin extract to date, measuring approximately 6% psilocybin content. This advancement is a result of improvements in their cultivation program, which includes a proprietary library of over 200 mushroom genetics, and refinements to their extraction processes. The company has selectively bred cultivars with elevated psilocybin content to achieve this higher purity while maintaining the natural botanical profile. A portion of this extract will support clinical research programs in Europe, where Optimi will supply GMP-grade finished materials for sponsor-led studies. The remaining biomass will be used for ongoing product development and future supply initiatives. This higher-purity extract also strengthens Optimi's commercial supply in Australia, where their 5 mg psilocybin capsules are prescribed for treatment-resistant depression under the Authorised Prescriber Scheme. Aggregated data from this scheme, active since September 2025, indicates no serious adverse events reported as of December 2025.
