OMA Q1 2026 Financial Results: 4.7% Passenger Growth, Dividend Approval, and Short-Term Financing

Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) reported its first quarter 2026 financial results showing mixed performance. Passenger traffic increased 4.7% to 6.7 million passengers, with domestic traffic growing 5.7% while international traffic declined 0.5%. Total revenues grew 4.1% to Ps.2,421 million in adjusted EBITDA, representing a 2.1% increase year-over-year. However, net income decreased 4.1% to Ps.1,239 million due to a 20% increase in operating expenses, primarily from maintenance, security, and cleaning services. Key developments include shareholder approval of a Ps.4,900 million dividend to be paid in two installments, extension of the NH Collection hotel lease agreement through 2034, and securing Ps.1,700 million in short-term financing to repay maturing bonds and fund working capital. The company invested Ps.604 million in capital projects and maintenance during the quarter. OMA ended the quarter with Ps.3,662 million in cash and no financial derivatives exposure.
