NetEase Announces First Quarter 2026 Financial Results

NetEase, Inc. reported its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026. Total net revenues reached RMB30.6 billion (US$4.4 billion), a 6.1% increase year-over-year. Games and related value-added services generated RMB25.7 billion, up 6.9% from the previous year. Youdao and NetEase Cloud Music saw net revenues of RMB1.3 billion and RMB2.0 billion, respectively, with increases of 3.8% and 6.6%. Innovative businesses and others segment experienced a 4.6% decrease in net revenues, amounting to RMB1.5 billion. Gross profit increased by 14.8% to RMB21.2 billion. Total operating expenses rose by 6.5% to RMB8.6 billion. Net income attributable to shareholders was RMB10.7 billion, with non-GAAP net income at RMB11.3 billion. Basic net income per share was US$0.48 (US$2.42 per ADS). The company also announced a quarterly dividend of US$0.144 per share and provided an update on its share repurchase program.
