NewtekOne, Inc. reported a record 961 loans originated in the first quarter of 2026, representing a 40% increase compared to the first quarter of 2025. The total dollar volume of these originations was approximately $391 million, up from $366 million in 1Q25. The company attributed this growth to enhancements in the loan origination process, including the integration of AI-powered resources, which supported the launch of the "Newtek Seven Day Business LoanTM." Loan originations in March 2026 alone reached 500 units, a 74% increase over March 2025, with a dollar volume of roughly $230 million, up 34% year-over-year. The company believes these technological advancements have reduced loan closing times and costs for borrowers, while increasing operational efficiency and attracting higher-quality credits. NewtekOne remains confident in its full-year EPS guidance and anticipates further diversification of loan types and credit risk.
