Namib Minerals Operational Update: Redwing Mine Dewatering On Schedule

Namib Minerals issued a press release on May 19, 2026, providing an operational update on the Redwing Mine in Zimbabwe. Dewatering activities are progressing as planned, with over 544,000 cubic meters of water pumped since January 2026, resulting in a water level decline of approximately 21.9 meters. The company is on schedule to achieve targeted underground access levels. Enhanced dewatering infrastructure, including high-capacity pumps, is expected to further increase pumping capacity. The Redwing Mine, historically producing 650,000 ounces of gold, holds 1.18 million ounces in measured and indicated resources. Namib Minerals aims to restart the Redwing Mine as part of its strategy to build a multi-asset African gold platform. The company is also managing the How Mine and planning restarts for two other assets in Zimbabwe.
