McCormick Appoints Cindy Hoots to Board of Directors

McCormick & Company, Incorporated announced the appointment of Cindy Hoots to its Board of Directors, effective June 1, 2026. Ms. Hoots, formerly the Chief Digital Officer and CIO of AstraZeneca PLC, brings extensive experience in digital transformation, technology strategy, and enterprise modernization. Her expertise spans global organizations and includes advising on business growth, risk management, cybersecurity, and AI. Ms. Hoots also has significant experience in the consumer packaged goods sector, with a focus on consumer-led innovation. She previously held leadership roles at Unilever, BAT p.l.c., SABMiller, ITT Inc., and Mars Incorporated. Ms. Hoots currently serves on the Board of Directors of Zoom Communications, Inc. and advises startups. This appointment is part of McCormick's ongoing board refreshment process, aimed at ensuring a diverse mix of skills and perspectives aligned with the company's strategic priorities. Following this appointment, the Board will comprise 12 directors, with 11 being independent. Ms. Hoots will also join the Audit Committee of the Board.
