Kolibri Global Energy Inc. Operations Update
Kolibri Global Energy Inc. provided an operations update for its Tishomingo field in Oklahoma. The field, with the addition of the new Barnes and Velin wells, is currently producing over 6,000 Barrels of oil equivalent per day. The Barnes wells (100% working interest) are averaging approximately 465 BOEPD each, with high oil percentages. The Lovina wells have shown lower decline rates and strong economics, with projected IRRs of 33% at $60/barrel oil and 48% at $70/barrel oil. The Velin wells, however, are experiencing lower than anticipated early production rates, averaging approximately 200 BOEPD each. This is attributed to necessary extended shut-in periods due to proximity of wellbores and potential geological factors. Tubing is being run in the Velin wells to assist with fracture fluid flowback and improve production rates. The company is pleased with the overall field performance and the high oil percentages from recent wells, which are improving netbacks. Further details on well performance, internal estimates, and cautionary statements regarding forward-looking information are provided in the full report.
