IHS Holding Limited Announces 2025 Sustainability Report

IHS Holding Limited has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing its commitment to stakeholders and its vision for a connected world. The report covers the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, and highlights the company's progress across its four-pillar sustainability strategy: ethics and governance, environment and climate change, education and economic growth, and its people and communities. Key achievements include a 21.4% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity, the planting of over 25,000 seedlings in Brazil, and investments of $8.2 million in community initiatives in 2025, bringing the total to $45 million since 2017. The company also reported no work-related injuries or fatalities among employees, an increase in female employees to 29%, and significant progress in digital inclusion through training programs. In governance, IHS South Africa achieved a Level 1 B-BBEE rating, and the company maintained its ISO 37001 certification.
