HyOrc Corporation Enters Novation and Assignment Agreement for Waste-to-Methanol Joint Venture

On April 7, 2026, HyOrc Corporation entered into a Novation and Assignment Agreement with Start Lda and MO.RE.DA. Oils, Lda. As a result, MO.RE.DA. Oils, Lda assumed Start Lda's rights and obligations in the HyOrc Start Green Fuels, Lda joint venture, which focuses on developing waste-to-methanol facilities. MO.RE.DA. Oils, Lda will replace Start Lda as the joint venture partner, maintaining the existing 50/50 ownership structure with HyOrc Corporation. MO.RE.DA. Oils, Lda will provide land, infrastructure, and regulatory cooperation, and will make its existing industrial facility in Guilhabreu, Vila do Conde, Portugal available for the pilot plant. This arrangement is expected to expedite the project timeline by utilizing an existing industrial operating permit.
