Global Water Resources Announces Rate Case Settlement with Arizona Regulators
Global Water Resources announced that its subsidiaries, Global Water β Santa Cruz Water Company and Global Water β Palo Verde Utilities Company, have entered into a settlement agreement with the Arizona Corporation Commission Utilities Division and Residential Utility Consumer Office regarding rate cases. The settlement includes a $2.3 million annual revenue increase for Santa Cruz Water Company with a 9.6% return on equity, effective November 1, 2026. The Palo Verde rate case will be withdrawn and refiled in 2027. Additionally, Palo Verde agreed to increase temporary bill credits for customers, reducing revenue by approximately $0.4 million annually. The settlement requires ACC approval and includes various tariff adjustments, compliance matters, and rate design changes. The company also issued a press release announcing the settlement agreement.
