Genenta Science Terminates Intellectual Property License Agreement with Ospedale San Raffaele
On May 18, 2026, Genenta Science S.p.A. announced that its Board of Directors approved the termination of its amended and restated license agreement with Ospedale San Raffaele S.r.l. (OSR). This agreement covered certain technology and intellectual property rights licensed from OSR to Genenta. The termination will result in the loss of licenses and option rights granted under the agreement, subject to wind-down and accrued obligations. Genenta stated that the decision followed a review of strategic priorities and resource allocation, and the company intends to reallocate its resources toward other ongoing business initiatives. Notably, the company does not expect to incur material termination fees or penalties. Despite the termination, Genenta will continue to support and monitor its ongoing clinical trial for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), which currently has two patients under observation. The termination notice was officially delivered on May 18, 2026, pursuant to Section 10.6(a) of the licensing agreement.
