GFL Environmental Inc. Announces Acquisition of Frontier Waste Solutions and Provides M&A Update

GFL Environmental Inc. has announced the acquisition of Frontier Waste Solutions, a solid waste management company with 24 sites in Texas, supported by a fleet of over 650 vehicles and nearly 1,000 employees. This acquisition is expected to densify GFL's footprint in the Texas Triangle and enhance its service capabilities in the region. In addition to the Frontier acquisition, GFL has completed seven other tuck-in acquisitions year-to-date, which are collectively expected to contribute $425.0 to $450.0 million in annualized revenue. The company financed these acquisitions through its credit facility, cash on hand, and the issuance of subordinate voting shares. GFL anticipates increasing its 2026 guidance based on these recent transactions and maintains a 2026 Net Leverage target of low to mid 3s. The company also noted that Frontier's CEO and shareholders are rolling US$100 million of proceeds into GFL shares.
