Six Flags Entertainment Corporation Completes Sale of Six U.S. Parks

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has announced the completion of the sale of six U.S. parks to EPR Properties. The parks included in the sale are Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun, Michigan's Adventure, Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston, Six Flags St. Louis, and Six Flags Great Escape. The sale is part of the Company's ongoing portfolio optimization strategy, aiming to concentrate capital and operational focus on properties with the greatest long-term growth potential. EPR Properties intends to partner with Enchanted Parks to manage these six domestic properties. Six Flags will retain the right to use the Six Flags brand through the end of 2026, subject to certain requirements. No significant impact on guests is expected during this transition, and all season passes sold will be honored through the 2026 operating season. The sale of the Canadian property, La Ronde, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026. This divestiture is expected to position Six Flags for more effective execution in 2026 and beyond, driving improved operating performance, margin expansion, free cash flow generation, and earnings growth.
