Fulgent Genetics, Inc. Announces Interim Data for FID-007 in Head and Neck Cancer

Fulgent Genetics, Inc. presented interim data from a Phase 2 study of FID-007 in combination with cetuximab for recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The data, presented at the ASCO 2026 Annual Meeting, showed an objective response rate (ORR) of 60% and a median progression-free survival (mPFS) of 7.2 months. The combination therapy demonstrated a favorable safety profile, with most treatment-related adverse events being Grade 1-2. Fulgent Genetics highlighted that these results are encouraging given the limited efficacy of current standard treatments for R/M HNSCC. The company aims to develop FID-007 as a meaningful treatment option for this patient population.
