Eve Holding, Inc. Completes First Flight of eVTOL Prototype

On December 19, 2025, Eve Holding, Inc. announced the successful completion of the first flight of its uncrewed, full-scale electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft prototype. This milestone event took place at Embraer S.A.’s test facility in Brazil and marks the commencement of the Company's flight test phase. The initial flight validated the integration of critical systems, including its fifth-generation fly-by-wire concept and fixed-pitch lifter rotors. Eve Holding plans to conduct further flights throughout 2026, progressively advancing towards full wingborne flight. The company is manufacturing six conforming prototypes for its flight test campaign, aiming to achieve certification. Eve Holding is actively collaborating with regulatory bodies, including Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), to progress the certification process.
