Notice of Change of Auditor

Equinox Gold Corp. has announced a change in its auditors. Effective May 20, 2026, KPMG LLP resigned as the company's auditor at the company's request. Subsequently, Deloitte LLP was appointed as the new auditor. This change was approved by the company's audit committee and board of directors. KPMG LLP has confirmed that there were no modified opinions in their reports for the company's financial statements for the past two fiscal years. Deloitte LLP has reviewed the change of auditor notice and agrees with the statements pertaining to their appointment, while stating they have no basis to agree or disagree with other statements regarding the period prior to their appointment.
