Elejor Renegotiates Public Utility Charges
Companhia Paranaense de Energia (Copel) announced that its subsidiary, Centrais Elétricas do Rio Jordão S.A. – Elejor, has renegotiated public utility charges. This renegotiation pertains to the upcoming installments due under the UBP, in accordance with Brazilian Law No. 15,235 and Aneel Order No. 668/2026. The renegotiated amount for the Santa Clara and Fundão Hydroelectric Plants is R$ 420,631,215.58, as officially calculated by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel). The final payment, due in June 2026, will be adjusted by the SELIC rate from December 8, 2025, until the settlement date, with monthly payments made during this period also adjusted. This measure aims to realign the payment flow of concession obligations, supporting the economic and financial balance of the project and Elejor's long-term operational sustainability, aligning with Copel's value creation strategy.
