AXIA Energia Wins Transmission Auction Lots in Brazil

AXIA Energia, a subsidiary of Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S.A. (Eletrobrás), announced the successful acquisition of lots 6A, 6B, 7A, and 7B in Transmission Auction No. 04/2025, held by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL). The lots are located in Minas Gerais (MG) and Rio Grande do Norte (RN) and involve synchronous compensation projects. The total purchase RAP (Receita Anual Permitida) for the lots is BRL 138.74 million, with discounts ranging from 44.81% to 51.17%. The total ANEEL Capex for the projects is BRL 1,630.07 million, with a term of 42 months for each lot. This acquisition strengthens AXIA Energia's leadership in the transmission market, focusing on value creation and disciplined capital allocation.
