Diana Shipping Inc. Announces Time Charter Contract for m/v Myrsini

Diana Shipping Inc. has entered into a time charter contract for its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel, the m/v Myrsini, with Paralos Shipping Pte. Ltd. The charter is set at a gross rate of US$13,500 per day, with a 5.00% commission to third parties, and is expected to commence on January 1, 2026. The duration of the charter will be until at least December 20, 2026, with an option to extend up to February 20, 2027. This new charter is anticipated to generate approximately US$4.71 million in gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period. The m/v Myrsini, built in 2010, is currently chartered to Cargill International SA at a rate of US$13,000 per day, minus a 4.75% commission. Diana Shipping Inc. currently operates a fleet of 36 dry bulk vessels and expects the delivery of two new Kamsarmax vessels in late 2027 and early 2028.
